I was born in Somerset England and I have spent the bulk of my working life as an electrical engineer in many different areas, be it waterworks, gas installations, power stations or even domestic work. I've met some very interesting people and been to some amazing places along the way. These events in my life have transpired into stories be it short or long there is always parts of my experiences in them. A lot of my ideas involve my local area and areas that I love to visit making the stories very personal to me.
I wanted to try something new and have discovered an affinity for writing stories with a draw to Sci-Fi and Horror. I still work full time as an Electrical Engineer but I'm hopeful this journey will take me somewhere.
I've earned the nickname SomersetViking. It was given to me from my engineering friends and it's probably evident why by my picture. My family are my top priority and they are a big influence on me becoming a writer. They have given me the push I needed to do this and they keep me motivated.
Other than being an engineer and a writer I have many other interests. I'm a keen biker and love my motorbikes. I like to Kayak, Cycle and enjoy walking with my family. Our three cats always entertain us whatever time of day, they break up the monotony of work.
